We design those seminars and retreats to work hand-in-hand with the individual one-on-one coaching that we provide. Traditionally we bookend the one-on-one coaching with seminars/retreats both before and after the individual coaching engagement. That allows an initiative to be presented in the course; then there is time allotted with each of the employees who are chosen to receive one-on-one coaching for them to fully integrate the company’s initiative. Finally, the employees are brought back together again to cement the principles of the initiative.

While the selection of employees who will participate in both the seminars and retreats as well as the ongoing one-on-one coaching is at the discretion of the corporate executives, we usually suggest starting the process with the company’s leaders, because if they show a willingness to be coached and to do what’s necessary to implement new initiatives, it makes it easier for the company’s employees to follow suit.
