Since 1995 I’ve been an educator. I instruct courses myself, and I also recruit, train, and develop other course leaders, including designing and leading training programs to certify coaches and course leaders in my own educational method.
I deliver programs of my own creation in universities and other educational institutions and in the non-profit sector, as well.
Here’s an example of one of my favorite courses that I created and get to lead.
I partner with university professors to deliver sessions to their students who are nearing graduation and about to be unleashed into the world as they near completion of their training in their chosen field. What could be more exciting?
I go into the classroom and work directly with these students to empower them to fulfill their highest aspirations and goals in their chosen professions and to stay on track despite what life hands them. Using a unique educational process, I have the students confront the very situations and circumstances that would likely “take them out of the game.” Rather than deflating the student in the present moment, this process arms them against the eventuality that those very situations and circumstances will arise.
The students report leaving the course empowered, emboldened, and inspired by themselves and their chosen career path. Many of my students say they graduate with more than simply a sense of naïve hope; rather, they leave with a steadfast resolve to conquer obstacles and use them as fuel.
