OMG, “portraits” at J.C. Penney’s!!!!!! That brings back such memories! I have some of those old things stashed somewhere with me and my little brother and some silly props they used to have. One I distinctly remember was my brother who was like one year old and they had him posing with an old school telephone! (Before he could even talk!) Their props were the best…fake flowers, costumes, toys, and on and on. Priceless!!!! Thakns for the blast from the past memory, Cheryl!!!

Cheryl you are amazing! What a wonderful story, it’s SO wonderful. Loved my Grandma too. You remind me of the times I would visit her and how I loved to raid her cookie jar for sugar cookies. They were always the best because they were hers, even if they were a little stale at times (crazy – Huh?). She wasn’t Italian (I probably would have been a 200 lb. child if she had been), but her Czech pastries were delicioso! Grazie bella for your beautiful story!
